Leaves are turning, the landscape is hues of golden colors, and notes of cinnamon and nutmeg waft through the air this time of year.

We know as the leaves turn and the landscape burns with hues of golden colors, one of the most polarizing debates will resurface. The stakes are high. Friendships are tested. The line in the sand is drawn, which side are you on?

October 24th celebrates a monumental day that effects every one of us and changed the trajectory of early American life on the plains.

It has been 3 weeks since we brought home our little bundle of joy to introduce him the rest of the herd.

My blood pressure continued to escalate. I was doing a lot of laying around, moaning and groaning with every movement. Just like when you walk through the calving lot in the middle of the night. There are heavy sighs and groans from those cows that are just days away from giving birth. Yup, that was me.

So there I was heavy with child, now completely understanding how that 12 year old, heavy bred cow was feeling in her last few weeks of pregnancy. Thanks for coming back to Ranch Raised.
