Being a female rancher this time of year, gets me a little sympathetic to the 100’s of females of we care for every day who are in their later stages of gestation. Nothing could be more true that a scene from life this morning.
As I drive that stretch of blacktop between our ranches, despite the bitter cold and all the challenges that a ranching brings, I can’t help but be more thankful than ever to live where we do.
Look around your community and find a nursing home, veterans group, senior citizen center, or whatever group you want and help them spread the love during this Valentine’s Day season.
I have become more intentional the last few years about leaving the commercial made convenience snack foods at the store and making my own at home. One of the easiest places to start is with granola bars!
Winter evenings on the ranch are a season that I definitely look forward to. I really feel like the good Lord gives us this season to rest.
