The crew at Your Ag Network is zig zagging all over the midwest meeting with farmers, ranchers, and ag businesses right where they are! Lorrie Boyer provided excellent coverage live at the Colorado Farm Show. Monte James was live to promote the Sioux Empire Livestock Show and Expo!
This week will be a super busy week for our Your Ag Network crew! I am headed to the north country, the Black Hills Stock Show! Come and find me at the R-CALF USA and South Dakota Stockgrowers booth all week! I am always excited to meet new people. The Hot Beef Mobile is headed to the Black Hills with Jesse Stroud behind the wheel! Jesse will be livestreaming the cattle industry townhall event Tuesday morning with a legislative panel and cattle industry panel, where yours truly will be representing R-CALF USA.
And I’m also saying there is chance that thee Monte James will be headed to North Platte, NE later in the week for the Buffalo Bill Farm & Ranch Expo! I will report back later this week to confirm. But, hey, maybe if we all blow up his phone begging him to make an appearance it will happen!

Karina ranches with her husband, Marty, and 3 daughters near Broken Bow, NE. She grew up in western NE, with roots also in southwest SD. The cattle industry and raising kids is her passion.
Watching the cattle industry go the path that it has gone, she could no longer sit quietly at home checking cows, fixing fence, and doing all the everyday tasks wondering when some else was going to make it all better. As she became more active and outspoken on industry issues, she was asked to join the R-CALF USA staff in September 2020 as the Checkoff Petition Campaign manager. That position transcended into her current role as full time Field Director for R-CALF USA.
