Each year on April 19th, National Garlic Day celebrates a vegetable also known as the stinking rose. The fragrant and potent root has been seasoning dishes for thousands of years.
I love adding over ripe bananas to pancake or waffle batter to change up the flavor! But nothing beat banana bread or muffins! So here is my recipe!
In the meantime, I think we can all thank the American dry edible bean farmers this weekend by partaking in the fruits of their labor. So start that big pot of chili cooking and don’t forget to add the beans!
And may we all work towards peace on Earth and goodwill towards others. Happy New Year from all of us at Your Ag Network.
There is a whole world waiting outside for kids to explore. It does not require fancy equipment or paid memberships. It just requires the will to open the door and step out!
I’m saying a big ole thank you to everyone who is doing their part to do their best today. It is just all so awesome, and it warms this gal’s heart in a big way! So don’t forget to spread kindness and thanks to those around you today!
And then I am reminded that so long ago, in a land far away. There was a plain ole barn, full of a menagerie of animals, just like this, where the greatest gift of all time was born. And it reminds me that we are exactly where we need to be.

This time of year, we start every morning with a drops of peppermint essential oil in our coffee grounds, so I for one appreciate the American peppermint farmer!
December 21 is national Ribbon Candy Day. If there is a candy that reminiscent of simpler times and humble holiday eras, I think ribbon candy is a close second to the candy cane.
