Around the ranch she was referred to as, “momma’s dog.”

It’s the circle of life kind of week here on Ranch Raised.

This time of year, there is a certain energy in the atmosphere on any farm and ranch. There is new life being born at every turn.

As we wrap up National Ag Week I want to bring you some good ole facts about American agriculture.

Throughout this week I have kept the spotlight on America’s farmers and ranchers while celebrating National Ag Week. But, I know it is equally important that we recognize all the people and occupations that are rooted in the ag industry right alongside the farmers and ranchers.

A major purpose of National Ag Week is to bring awareness to everyone how agriculture affects you every minute, of every day.

Ag Day is about recognizing and celebrating the contributions of agriculture to our everyday lives.
