The calendar may have turned past some of the biggest rodeos of the summer, but nobody in the PRCA or WPRA is putting the rig in park just yet.
After major paydays at Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Days of ’47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City, the rodeo road rolls directly into another packed weekend. Dodge City Roundup Rodeo, Kansas’ Biggest Rodeo in Phillipsburg and Iowa’s Championship Rodeo in Sidney are among the next opportunities for contestants to cash checks, climb the standings and strengthen their position for the postseason.
The ultimate destination is the Cinch Governor’s Cup, set for the end of September in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Between now and then, every qualified ride, clean run and fast time could reshape the race for Las Vegas.
Here is a look at the latest PRCA and WPRA Top Five world standings.
Miller Builds a Big Bareback Lead
Bradlee Miller continues to control the bareback riding race with $223,823.70 in season earnings.

Kade Sonnier has moved into third with $135,874.48, followed closely by Cooper Cooke at $134,366.10. Kansas cowboy Jess Pope rounds out the Top Five with $132,390.84.
Only about $3,500 separates third from fifth, making the battle behind Miller and Lees one of the tightest races in the standings.

Hayle Gibson-Stillwell has moved into first with $174,720, taking a lead of just under $10,000 over four-time world champion Hailey Kinsel.
The rise comes during a breakout stretch for Gibson-Stillwell. She finished second in the Days of ’47 Rodeo final in Salt Lake City, missing the championship by only one-hundredth of a second and earning $13,000.
Gibson-Stillwell entered her first National Finals Rodeo in 2025 ranked 12th and finished the season fourth in the world after placing in seven of 10 rounds. She earned $188,608 at the NFR, including a Round 7 victory.

No Rest on the Road to Sioux Falls
The summer’s biggest rodeos have already produced major changes, but the standings are far from settled.
Miller and Webb have established sizable leads in bareback riding and tie-down roping. Waguespack continues to set the pace in steer wrestling. Meanwhile, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing and bull riding are separated by margins that could disappear with one championship payday.
The next stop brings another full weekend of opportunities in Dodge City, Phillipsburg, Sidney and rodeo arenas across the country.
