Host Monte James attended the recent South Dakota Livestock Auction Markets Association (SDLAMA) meeting with panelists from Western Legacy Development Corporation / Kingsbury and Associates and members of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board.
Megan Kingsbury President/CEO of Kingsbury and Associates and CEO of Western Legacy Development Corporation is planning a 1.1 Billion dollar next-generation beef and bison packing facility that will process 8000 head per day and procure cattle from regional salebarns and feedlots across the beef belt.
The Western Legacy Development Corporation meat processing plant anticipates groundbreaking in January 2023.
