Just TWO WEEKS remain in the 2026 PRORODEO regular season, and this week on the Territorial Rodeo Update, we’re checking out the LAST FIVE IN!
But first, big news from Rocker Steiner.
The defending Bareback World Champion announced Wednesday he’s shutting it down for 2026. Steiner underwent neck surgery June 4 and says his focus now is getting completely healthy for a return in 2027.
Rocker currently sits 15th in the World, with Mason Stuller 16th and Wacey Schalla right there on the bubble as well.
Meanwhile, Pendleton is underway this week, with the Cinch Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls looming at the end of the month.
Two weeks left, only the Top 15 get the golden ticket to Vegas, so let’s check the LAST FIVE IN… which is technically six, because we’re going 10 through 15. Rodeo math!
- In BAREBACK, Jayco Roper is 10th, followed by Territory cowboys Cole Reiner of Wyoming, Tanner Aus of Minnesota and Garrett Shadbolt of Merriman, Nebraska. Clayton Biglow is 14th and Rocker Steiner 15th.
- Time to BULLDOG! Mike McGinn sits 10th, North Dakota’s Bridger Anderson 11th, then Holden Myers, Trisyn Kalawaia, Gavin Soileau and Will Lummus holding down number 15.
- TEAM ROPING HEADERS, Cody Snow through Clint Summers occupy 10 through 15. Among the heelers, Denton Dunning is 10th, Lane Mitchell 11th, Dillon Graham, Coleby Payne, JC Flake and Wyatt Cox 15th.
- SADDLE BRONC has a definite Territory flavor! Q Taylor is 10th, Colorado’s Waitley Sharon 11th, followed by Kolby Wanchuk, Damian Brennan, Ben Andersen and Gus Gaillard.
- In TIE-DOWN, Trevor Hale sits 10th, then Quade Hiatt, Bryce Derrer, Kyan Wilhite, Shad Mayfield and Beau Cooper on the cut line at 15.
- BARREL RACING, Tricia Aldridge is 10th, followed by LaTricia Duke, Megan McLeod-Sprague, South Dakota’s Lisa Lockhart, Makenzie Mayes and Katelyn Scott.
- And BULL RIDING, congratulations to world leader Noah Lee, your Rank 45 Xtreme Bulls Tour Champion!
On the NFR bubble, Lane Vaughan is 10th, followed by Colten Fritzlan, Cooper James, Jake Gardner, Josh Frost and Braxton Whitesell hanging onto number 15.
