Memorial Day weekend brings a busy slate of rodeo action across the country, with several major stops offering big money and major movement in the PRCA world standings.

Deadwood, South Dakota, will host Back When They Bucked, while Watford City, North Dakota, welcomes the Ag Expo Pro Rodeo. The Colorado Stampede Rodeo also takes center stage this weekend in Grand Junction, Colorado.

With several large purses on the line, the standings could look different by the time the dust settles.

In bareback riding, Rocker Steiner remains No. 1 in the world standings, followed by Bradlee Miller, Wacey Schalla, Jacob Lees and Leighton Berry.

Steer wrestling saw little change this week, with Louisiana’s Tyler Waguespack holding the top spot. Holden Myers is second, followed by Mike McGinn, Stetson Jorgensen and Tyke Kipp.

In team roping headers, Korbin Rice continues to hold a big lead of about $30,000. Kaleb Driggers, Jake Smith and Tanner Tomlinson sit second through fourth, with Dustin Egusquiza rounding out the top five.

On the heeling side, Cooper Freeman leads Junior Nogueira. Douglas Rich, J.C. Flake and Ross Ashford complete the top five, with Ashford moving into the group this week.

In saddle bronc riding, Rusty Wright has traded spots with his brother, Stetson Wright, to take over the top position. Chase Brooks is third, Kade Bruno is fourth and Australian Damian Brennan sits fifth.

The top three remain unchanged in tie-down roping, with Riley Webb leading Kincade Henry and Shad Mayfield. John Douch has moved to fourth, followed by Joel Harris in fifth.

Barrel racing remains unchanged at the top. Kassie Mowry continues to hold a large lead, followed by LaTricia Duke, Emily Beisel, Hayle Gibson-Stillwell and Hailey Kinsel.

In bull riding, changes could be coming after the weekend. For now, Idaho’s Tristen Hutchings leads Stetson Wright by about $6,000. Canada’s Jake Gardner sits third, followed by Noah Lee and Hayden Welsh of Gillette, Wyoming, who moved into the top five this week.
