As spring weather swings between warm sunshine and late-season snow across much of the country, professional rodeo athletes continue their busy early-season push across the United States, with major events including Rodeo Houston, rodeos in Florida, and the Cinch World’s Toughest Rodeo in Louisville, Kentucky drawing competitors from across the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA).

According to this week’s Territorial Rodeo Update, several familiar names continue to dominate the standings as the season builds momentum.

Leading the all-around race is Utah star Stetson Wright, who has built a sizeable lead. Wright currently sits roughly $25,000 ahead of second-place Wacey Schalla, giving him early control of the race for the PRCA’s most prestigious title.

Schalla, however, holds the top spot in bareback riding, where he leads a competitive field that includes Jacob Lees in second and Bradlee Miller in third. R.C. Landingham ranks fourth, while Cole Reiner of Buffalo, Wyoming, rounds out the top five.

In steer wrestling, Louisiana cowboy Tyler Waguespack leads the standings with North Dakota’s Bridger Anderson close behind. Stetson Jorgensen sits third, followed by Tyke Kipp in fourth and Montana veteran Ty Erickson in fifth.

The team roping header standings are led by Georgia’s Kaleb Drigger, who holds roughly a $10,000 advantage over Iowa’s Corben Culley. Dustin Egusquiza ranks third, with Cory Kidd fourth and Lightning Aguilera fifth.

On the heeler side, Junior Nogueira has surged into the top position. Trent Vaught is second, followed by Carson Johnson of Wyoming in third. Texans J.C. Flake and Will Woodfin round out the top five.

The saddle bronc riding standings have seen a shift as the Wright family continues its dominance. Rusty Wright has climbed into the No. 1 position, with brother Stetson Wright close behind in second. Wyatt Casper sits third, followed by Chase Brooks and Kade Bruno of Idaho in the fifth spot.

In tie-down roping, Kincade Henry remains in first place while defending world champion Riley Webb holds second. Haven Meged ranks third, John Douch fourth, and Tom Crouse of Missouri has moved into fifth.

The barrel racing standings are led by Oklahoma’s Emily Beisel, who holds a narrow edge over Kassie Mowry. Anita Ellis sits third, with Hayle Gibson-Still fourth and Gracen Harman rounding out the top five.

In bull riding, South Dakota standout Mason Moody continues to hold the top spot in the world standings. Colorado’s Luke Mackey has climbed into second place, followed by Lane Vaughan in third, Cooper James in fourth, and Tristen Hutchings fifth.

With major rodeos continuing across the country and Rodeo Houston still underway, the standings are expected to shift in the coming weeks as competitors chase early-season earnings and momentum on the road to the National Finals Rodeo.

The Territorial Rodeo Update, hosted by Derek Beck, tracks the top cowboys and cowgirls competing across the PRCA each week.
